In 1982 I graduated from Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, MA. Soon after I became a textile designer and was represented by Flowerpatch Studio, NYC. I continued to study painting with Sam Feinstein who had studied with and taught at the Hans Hoffman school, NYC. Over the years, there have been several showings of my work in various galleries and many of my pieces are in private collections.

I have accepted a job in New Zealand and will be out of the country for an unknown period of time. Therefore, I would like to find homes for all my paintings before I leave. Please contact me if you are interested in owning a work of art. All prices are negotiable.

Landscapes

When I first moved to Nashua I would take walks along the Nashua River and Canal in Mine Falls Park where I would phot0graph the beautiful landscape. Then I would make paintings from them. The picture of me was taken last winter in Mine Falls Park photographing the winter scenery. Many of the paintings I did of Mine Falls Park are in private collections.

Expression

When I paint using a subject I try to be too literal and don't allow enough of my own expression to come through. I did a series of landscape paintings using acrylics and they were neither realistic nor expressionistic. I felt like I was fighting with myself. Now when I paint, I allow myself all the freedom that I need.
